Konferensi Ilmiah Akuntansi (KIA) is an event of the Institute of Indonesia chartered Accountants - Educator Accountant Compartment (IAI KAPd) in collaboration with Universities, an interaction forum for accounting lecturers and students to discuss and disseminate research results. KIA activities provide input for academics related to research, development of the latest knowledge, improving research skills, as well as expanding the network of cooperation between various universities.

Activities will be carried out through seminars, research method workshops, call-for-paper presentations, and student colloquiums with various themes according to the times.

In 2024, KIA developed its scale to the international level so that KIA XI was the first KIA with an international scope. The hope is that interaction and collaboration can be created globally and as an effort to engage at the international level. Universities also need internationalization activities to increase recognition on an international level and excellent accreditation.
